Through radio and GPS technology, the Surf Radio provides surfers an edge no other board can offer. The device works like a walkie-talkie, with a two-way radio system that allows surfers to communicate with each other no matter where they are. Besides this, the Surf Radio's GPS system gives surfers updated information about their location, rip currents, and building swells. If the wave hits too hard, the system can send out an emergency beacon, pinpointing the exact location of injured surfers.
