Toyota Launches Fully-Remodeled Minivans, Voxy and Noah

Toyota Motor Corp. released fully-remodeled Voxy and Noah, the company's minivans, that adopted Valvematic, a combination of a continuously variable valve timing mechanism and continuously variable valve lift mechanism on June 27, 2007.

To enhance the comfort and usability, the new models are mounted with an air conditioning system with independent left/right temperature control and a pollen removal mode. Also, they are equipped with "one-touch space up seats," the third-row seats that can be folded and flipped up with one-touch operation.

Voxy and Noah, depending on the grade, take "3" or "5" for the first digit of the class number on the car registration plate. The length, width and height of the "3-number" models are 4,640 mm (4,630 mm for Noah) × 1,720 mm × 1,850 mm (1,875 mm for 4WD vehicles), and the wheelbase is 2,825 mm.

The length and width of the "5-number" models are 4,595 mm and 1,695 mm, and the height and wheelbase are the same as those of "3-number" models. Some models are five-seaters without the third-row seats, and the others are seven- or eight-seaters with the third-row seats.
